Tastings and picnic lunch

A first tasting takes place at the fabulous, family-run Hartenberg or Simonsig estate; followed by a tasting at the award-winning Rustenberg Estate and a picnic lunch enroute to Franschhoek. In the afternoon, we sample wines in the Franschhoek valley.

Stellenbosch

Stroll through South Africa's second oldest town with its many national monuments and trendy shops. We also visit the famous "Oom Samie se Winkel" ("Uncle Samie's Shop").

Franschhoek

Visit this historical town made famous by the French Huguenots. Franschhoek is synonymous with great wine making and home to some of the top restaurants in South Africa.
