Tour Highlights

Our first stop is at Villiera Wines, this unassuming estate consistently produces sparkling wines of the highest standard. Their flagship Monro Brut as well as the Tradition Brut and the Brut Natural are definitely worth sampling.

We then visit the famous Simonsig Wine Estate, renowned as the Cape's first producers of traditional method bubbly better known as MCC, Methode Cap Classique. The Kaapse Vonkel 'Cape Sparkling', Brut Rose Cuvee Royale sparkling wines are legendary.

The ever popular Boschendal Estate will be our next stop, where we enjoy a scrumptious 'Le Pique-Nique' lunch in the shade of the towering pine trees.

Graham Beck Wines on the outskirts of Franschhoek awaits. This modern estate has fine red and white wines on offer, not forgetting a very good Methode Cap Classic range, including Brut Rose and Blanc de Blancs.

Our last tasting of the day will will take us through the little village of Franschhoek en-route to Cabriere, home of the Pierre Jourdan wine range and the sabrage. A perfect way to end the day, sipping bubbly while taking in the spectacular views over the Franschhoek Valley below.
